4 September | Big thanks and congratulations to all who took part in our Essex 100 ride on Sunday! And, thanks for making the ride such a fantastic event. From the feedback on the day (and some emails since) everyone seemed to enjoy the route (and the food!) and we certainly enjoyed looking after you! The weather was very kind to us on the day, considering the rest of the country had a downpour! Almost 450 brilliant riders took part and we hope to raise an amazing amount of money. Thank you so very much from all of us at Action Medical Research - we really appreciate the massive effort that goes into raising every penny. The reason for putting on this ride is to raise money to help find ways to prevent life-threatening pregnancy complications and premature birth, improve the quality of life for children with disabilities, and tackle rare and devastating conditions for which there are currently no cures.
Sponsorship - many have already donated online or handed their sponsorship in on the day - thank you so much.
